MAYA Board Rotational Parent Representative Application Form
Please fill out this form if you are interested in being nominated as the MAYA Board Rotational Parent Representative.
A Rotational Parent Representative (RPR) is a current parent of a MAYA student, who shall serve a one (1) year term upon election as a parent representative on the ICA Board of Education.
Rotational Parent Representatives are required to:
Serve for at least a one-year term;
Attend Monthly Board meetings;
Prepare Reports for MAYA Board Meetings;
Engage MAYA Parents for feedback and engagement; and
Support the Mission and Goals of the MAYA Board.
If elected, your term will begin in October and run through September 30th of next year.
There will be one (1) parent elected to represent the Pre-K to 5th Grade age group and one (1) parent to represent the 6th Grade to 8th Grade age group.
The MAYA Principal will select a date and time of the RPR Election in early October. A minimum of 20 families must attend the election in order to select the two representatives.
